Physical Description: Tall athletic body; lean and strong. High waist; long limbs; square shoulders that slope; thick strong lower half. Impressive instincts and quick twitch athleticism. Moderate projection remaining, room to fill out in chest, shoulders and overall strength. Missed entire '18 season with labrum tear in his throwing shoulder.

Hit: Square stance; hands high at the ear; noisy setup; busy active hand load; crouched from a super wide base. Modest toe-tap trigger. Slightly above-average bat speed. Quick from the trigger to the contact point; not much drive or torque; swing is more hands than bottom half. Shows discipline; appears more passive than patient; handles velocity; ok at reading spin; will get caught looking at the above-average or better secondary offerings. Currently a well below-average hitter, Sparks has the ingredients of a potential fringe-average hitter. Grade: 45

Power: Fringe-average raw in BP, with potential for more pop if his body fills out. Line-drive oriented stroke; doesn't lift the ball much; line drives have lots of top spin and don't carry; power can play from gap-to-gap as doubles variety. Hit tool deficiencies and current lack of strength and swing plane significantly limit over-the-fence power. Speed and instincts on the bases should pad extra base totals. Grade: 30

Field: Above-average defender. Enough speed and defensive prowess to man CF. Gets good jumps and takes solid efficient routes; speed mitigates mistakes. Grade: 55

Arm: An impact plus tool on draft day, an unfortunate labrum tear has sapped the overall arm strength to solid average at present. Long and loose arm action; fluid release; sets feet when throwing to get momentum behind the ball; throws on a line with optimal carry. No longer a weapon but solid average. Grade: 50

Run: Impact tool. Borderline double-plus straight line speed. Quick out of the box; reaches near top speed swiftly and accelerates on the turn at first; kicks it into another gear on the bases. Wheels will turn singles into some doubles. Aggressive base stealer; immaturity can run into outs at times. Grade: 60

Overall: Drafted as a tooled up prep developmental piece back in 2017, Sparks has logged just 78 pro games thanks largely in part to a torn labrum that cost him the entire '18 season. The cancellation of the '20 season did Sparks no favors either as he's Rule V eligible after next season and has yet to escape complex league rookie ball. The defensive profile and speed are solid enough to keep him in the conversation, Sparks literally just needs to stay healthy, fill out and refine his swing. An intriguing lotto ticket with pop-up potential, Sparks is worth keeping an eye on next season.

Follow through created by hip turn is smooth, strong, straight. Plate coverage adequate, prefers inside. Not rushed or intimidated at plate. Will walk. Line drive hitter to all fields. Grade: 45

Power: Strong enough to reach fences with ease. Base built for power, swing built for singles and long doubles. Reasonable to expect 15-18 HR/25+ Doubles. More of a run producer w/ good eye than HR hitter. Grade: 40

Field: Element of his game that shines with consistency. Excellent backstop and hands. Quick, purposeful pop-ups. Very very strong throwing arm. Low, accurate, glove-side throws with consistency. Called and framed at a high level. Loud communicator. Leadership skills. Grade: 55

Arm: Strong, accurate to the base consistently. Gets legs and lower body behind ball efficiently. Little wasted motion in rise. Overhand and low from a consistent release point. Note: GCL offenses stole at will against most catchers on most teams; he nailed 6-14 runners. Grade: 55

Run: Quick to pivot into run out of the box. Average acceleration, short strider. High effort runner who tires quickly. SB totals expected to be low single digits. Grade: 40

Overall: High-effort and focused between the lines. Leader at the plate, in the dugout. Passionate about the game, serious about winning. Attitude player with on-base skills, power and burgeoning strike-zone skills. Body built for playing catcher and athleticism sneaky at 225lbs. Makes pitchers and lineups that much better. Lower level gem for a rebuilding system.

Physical Description: Tall lanky frame with long limbs. Short midsection and some projectability left in his overall frame. Potential to add good mass.

Hit: High contact profile is his calling card. Solid near average hit tool based on his ability to consistently make contact at high rates, albeit often with minimal impact. High load swing with quick hands allow him to get the barrel to the ball in all quadrants of the zone. Aggressive approach with high contact ability will limit both walks and strikeouts. Grade: 45

Power: Below-average power. Swing mechanics are geared towards high contact throughout the zone, but without much lower half involvement. Lack of mass limits the raw power and his overall plate approach limits the game power. Some projectability depending on physical development but would likely always be more gap-to-gap than over-the-fence power. Grade: 40

Field: Plus defender with unconventional mechanics. Stiff in the hips and core when moving laterally, but plus instincts and long limbs allow him to make all the plays at shortstop. Has a tendency to speed himself up and make the occasional mistake, but plus hands and instincts mitigate the effect of most mistakes. Grade: 60

Arm: Above-average arm that can make all throws from deep shortstop or third base. Can erase with the rare defensive mistake with the effectiveness of his arm. Weird throwing mechanics due to long limbs and lanky build, but doesn't affect his accuracy. Grade: 55

Run: Average to above-average runner based on physical tools. Long, awkward strides on the basepaths. Good speed aids his range defensively and good base-running instincts can produce some consistent double digit stolen base seasons. Grade: 50

Overall: Double-plus makeup shortstop whose ultimate profile will be determined by his ability to hit. High work ethic and drive to improve, and plus baseball instincts from his former major league father Tony Graffanino Most likely outcome is a plus defensive infielder with a below-average bat. Plenty of offensive projection left, and has already added some mass to his frame since the last time he played in a game environment. In all cases he is likely to be ineffective in terms of power.

Swing has lots of moving parts, but he shows the ability to consistently get the barrel through the zone. Swing and miss issues are present. Controls the zone well with good plate discipline. Hit tool will play about average. Grade: 50

Power: Above average raw power for his frame. Uppercut swing and heavy pull tendency limits his ability to use his power to all fields. More game power against left handed pitching. Grade: 45

Field: Utility infielder with above average speed. Good first step and instincts allow him to make the majority of routine plays in the middle infield and some at the hot corner. Good speed bolsters range in the middle infield. Grade: 45

Arm: Short, compact throwing mechanics contribute to a strong but inconsistent arm. Can make all throws from the middle infield and the routine plays at third base. Accuracy concerns likely limit him to 2B or SS long term. Grade: 45

Run: Above-average speed with a short stride on the base paths. Good twitchy acceleration with a maxed out, short frame. Base-running instincts are lacking, but will likely be an above average runner on physical tools alone. Grade: 55

Overall: A small utility infielder with good physical tools. Surprising power from a small frame will make him a useful bat off the bench against left-handed pitching in situations where his defensive versatility doesn't afford him a spot in the everyday lineup. Swing and miss issues limit his ability to get to his raw power in game situations but above average plate discipline will carry an average hit tool.

A slap and dash guy whose wheels should help him pad extra-base stats. Hit tool deficiencies likely sap overall in-game power production. Grade: 30

Field: Above-average defender. Reads the ball well off the bat. Solid routes to the ball. Athleticism, instincts and double-plus speed help mitigate occasional mistakes. Covers plenty of ground; great at tracking balls to both sides and retreating back towards the wall. Occasionally tested and beat coming in on balls. Overall a solid and capable above-average defender. Grade: 55

Arm: Fringe-average velocity. Shows optimal carry but lacks consistency. Probably stretched in RF but solid enough to hand in a pinch. Sound fundamentals on tag-ups, gears up and gets everything behind it; max-effort throws with moderate accuracy. Grade: 50

Run: Double-plus speed with regular 4.10 to 4.17 clocks down the line. Quick out of the box; reaches top speed quickly and moves well around the bases. Smart instinctual runner with a track record of taking extra bases. Will go first-to-third and stretch singles into doubles when opportunity permits. Big league stolen base potential likely significantly sapped by hit tool deficiencies; impact potential with improved consistency at the plate. Utilizes speed well on defense, gliding smoothly from gap to gap; speed helps mitigate defensive mistakes. Grade: 70

Overall: Hit tool maturation will ultimately influence big league role. Regardless, speed and defensive profile and impact speed are likely strong enough to provide solid role 40, platoon or bench potential.

Short, compact path to the zone; contact-oriented swings; allows the ball to travel deep; uses center and opposite fields often especially against same-sided pitching. Pesky hitter; will foul off good pitches and limits hacks at chase pitches. Struggles to barrel the ball consistently; slap approach; legs will allow him to steal an occasional infield hit. Below average hit tool, but ability to control counts and take free passes helps the profile. Grade: 45

Power: Below average power; frame and approach are not geared for power. Over-the-fence thump favors the pull field heavily but occasionally will go to center. Legs will boost extra-base numbers, likes the ball down and in to lift and separate. Grade: 40

Field: Above-average defender; moved around in college; best position is at shortstop, where he features good range going both directions. Quick transfers with solid instincts in the field. Arm: Textbook throwing mechanics with good accuracy; above-average arm strength; throws through the bag. Arm would play best at shortstop or right field; would be overqualified for second base. Grade: 55

Run: Home-to-first times range from above-average to plus 4.10-4.15; shows the ability to hurry infielders and will find an infield hit with his legs. Shows calculated aggressiveness; takes the extra base when he knows he can make it. Regular base-stealing threat currently that may settle down as his frame reaches projection and climbs through the minor leagues. Grade: 55

Overall: 2020 draftee Servideo will enter 2021 with just 17 games over the previous year, suggesting there may be some rust to knock off as he gets acclimated to professional baseball. At his ceiling, he's a pest-type player that works at-bats, steals bases, and does the little things well on a baseball field. Considering his inability to barrel balls consistently, his speed, as well as the versatility he showed in college, he's more likely destined for a utility or platoon-type role at the next level.

Run: Long, galloping strides in the outfield and on the base paths; lacks twitchy acceleration and likely to lose a step as frame reaches physical projection. Still an average runner at the next level capable of a handful of stolen bases across a full season. Grade: 50

Overall: Stowers' size and power are exciting, but the approach deficiencies may never allow the power to reach its true potential. Considering his struggles against lefties, a platoon or utility outfield option is a realistic outcome at the next level, with his floor being an organizational soldier-type.

Impressive hand eye coordination; smooth swing; great extension. Solid bat-to-ball skills. Long levers naturally yield a rather long swing, making him susceptible to average or better off-speed. Advanced approach: patient not passive; shows the ability to walk at a solid clip and limit strikeouts. Grinds out long at-bats. Polished hitter that should easily reach his projected ceiling at the plate. Grade: 55

Power: Shows above-average raw in BP; HR predominately to the opposite field. Hits the ball hard often, just fails to consistently lift. All fields line drive approach; swing plane and approach limit over-the-fence game time pop. Shows the ability to produce a respectable amount of extra-base hits, but likely just a fringe-average tool against big league pitching. Grade: 45

Field: Likely a 1B only profile; has also received reps at 3B and corner OF though. Solid average defender at 1B. Shows soft hands; able to get good extension off the base; good pick; works well around the base; lacks large range but enough to play; not highly athletic but can handle 1B with ease. Slow first-step at 3B; solid body control; shows mobility to the ground; steady hands and smooth actions. Appears at times like he's playing in slow-motion; the game just speeds up on him at times. Limited looks in OF. Appears to have a solid first step; fringy reads and routes; range is slightly below-average. Ability to play there in a pinch; not optimal full time or long term. Lack of ability and limited athleticism likely push him to 1B with occasional depth spells at 3B. Grade: 50

Arm: Average arm strength, capable of starting a solid double play. Throws have carry, hold plane, accurate from the line; careful and accurate feeding pitchers at first while playing 3B. Solid average tool. Grade: 50

Run: Well below-average runner down the line; takes some time to get out of the box and reach his cruising speed. Short strides; isn't a threat to steal or go first to third; won't clog the bases or run into many outs. Instinctual runner that shows slightly better than his well below-average speed. Grade: 40

Overall: Modest second-division regular potential if the power exceeds my expectations; more realistically a solid bench bat or platoon corner infielder that sees the bulk of his time at 1B.

Hands sit above the letters with a raised back elbow; slight coil into load with an average stride; stiff front leg prevents the body from getting out in front. Bat is quick through the zone but tends to lengthen on outside pitches. Works counts; passive early and protects late; uses opposite-field frequently. Overall, fringy hit tool with the potential for average with physical gains. Grade: 45

Power: Frame is not ideal for power; swing generates loft but lacks engagement from the lower half; extra-base hits will go to all fields. Quick bat with physical projection may allow power to improve, but not likely to hit average totals long-term. Grade: 40

Field: Average defender at shortstop; sure-handed, reliable glove with average range. Tracks fly balls well. Comfortable back-handing balls. Makes the expected plays with confident hands, but not likely to fill a highlight-reel. Tends to be passive; could play either spot up-the-middle. Grade: 50

Arm: Above-average arm; clean transfers with a quick release. Action is quick; will show carry on throws through the bag but needs effort and legs into throws. Throws are accurate to the bag. Grade: 55

Run: Double-plus runner; fast, powerful strides down the line. Digs into the dirt with short, choppy strides. 3.96-4.0 home-to-first; capable of easily reaching double-digit steals across a full season. Grade: 70

Overall: Hall has the tools to stick at short; his sure-handed, reliable glove skills and double-plus running ability will carry the profile--he shows the ability to make contact at the plate with bat-to-ball skills, but it's more inside-out bleeders and bloops than consistent line drives. The running ability Hall shows on the basepaths is not always present in the field; an eventual outfield move may help maximize his legs. If he can improve the quality of his contact, there is the chance for an MLB regular role, but more than likely it's a utility middle infield type long-term.

Physical Description: Long and lean, carries his 200 pounds well. Athletic build. Muscular, well-defined lower half. Could stand to add some weight in his upper body. Could easily play at 210 or 215. Above average straight-line speed. Enough strength to eventually develop into a power threat.

Hit: Swing is ugly, but effective. Aggressive approach. Upright, slightly open stance. Hands start right above his ear. Pronounced leg kick with noticeable weight shift that causes his lower half to drift through the zone at times. Legs tend to bow when getting through hitting zone. Backside can collapse when trying to go to the opposite field. Gets bat head to the zone well with quick hands. Will make contact on a consistent basis. Doesn't strike out a lot. Grade: 40

Power: Big, strong kid who has above average power to his pull-side. Opposite field power needs work. Swing generates natural loft. Will need to improve his lower half mechanics to unlock peak power profile. Grade: 40

Field: Potential plus defender with great instincts. Never made an error in college. Can play all three outfield positions. Takes good angles to the ball. Has plenty of range to run down balls in the gap. Attacks the ball in the outfield. High baseball IQ. Grade: 50

Arm: Plus arm strength with overhand release. Gets good carry. Throws are usually on target around the bag. Good balance in his throw and his body stays underneath him. Arm tool should carry as he advances. Grade: 50

Run: Elite speed. Clocks 4.10 to 4.15 consistently. Wasn't asked to run a lot in college. Speed isn't used as a weapon offensively. Needs to be more aggressive on the bases. Can track down most balls in the outfield. Speed should help him advance quickly. Grade: 60

Overall: If you like toolsy outfielders, Haskin is your guy. Already has good size and speed which should play up as he advances. Will need to walk more and change his approach at the plate to adjust to the Major League level. The swing is unconventional but gets the job done so it will be interesting to see how much the Orioles tinker with him. If the hit tool and power develop, we could be talking about an everyday starter with room for more. Defensively he will be able to play all three outfield spots which, in a system starved for position players, should benefit him. He's shown, at the amateur level, the ability to work counts and stay within an approach, but there has always been some swing-and-miss issues and he may have trouble getting to elite velocity. Power: The raw power is plus right now, with easy 70 projection and a chance to reach true 80 grade raw power in the future. He's shown the ability to drive the ball out to all parts of the park, though he's very much a pull-side preference right now, to the point where it's impacted his overall game at times. Field: Mayo plays third base right now, and while he presently shows the hands and arm strength for the position, he's somewhat limited in terms of range and first step twitch, both of which are only expected to regress as he continues to fill out his substantial frame. He should be developed as a third baseman and certainly has a chance to stay there long term, but he likely falls shy of an average defender there. Grade: 45

Arm: This has a chance to be a plus tool, with above-average raw arm strength right now with online, true carry across the diamond. It's the type of arm that, with continued refinements in terms of release consistency and better patterning of his lower half, could be projected to plus. Grade: 55

Run: Mayo is presently a fringe-to-below average runner down the line right now, mostly in the 4.4 second range. The speed is likely to continue slowing down as he gets bigger, but he's got solid athleticism and it's not unrealistic to expect him to settle in as a non-base clogging type of below average runner. Grade: 40

Overall: Mayo's power is the draw here, and what got him enough money in the draft to be signed away from the University of Florida. Some comps have been drawn to both Austin Riley of the Braves and Bobby Dalbec of the Red Sox, with both bearing some semblance of reality. In a perfect world, he'll hit enough to get to 30 bombs a year and play a passable third base, but the most likely outcome seems to be that of a 1st baseman who can get to 20-25 home runs per year, with high strikeout numbers.

Hit: Westburg's developmental trajectory of his hit tool is still pointed up, as he's done an excellent job throughout his college career of consistently cutting down on his strikeouts, adding to his walk totals, and getting to his power with more frequency. It's plus bat speed, though he gets pull-happy often and will often take plus-count swings in minus-count situations, which has led to some trouble with strikeouts. The overall upside here is still a very good one, even if Westburg falls shy of a solid-average hit tool. Grade: 40

Power: The raw power is plus, with his excellent right-handed bat speed and physical strength combining to give him excellent power to the pull-side in particular, though he's got the ability to exit the yard in any direction. The approach is to pull, as stated, and while Westburg's hit tool should allow him to play with above-average power frequency, he's still likely to swing and miss too much to really get to plus power output. Grade: 55

Field: Westburg presently has the range, hands, actions, athleticism, and footwork to play the shortstop position, though the concern is that he might end up too big to play there long term. At 6-3/205 right now, Westburg could conceivably get to 220+ long term, and that could in turn affect his lateral agility to the point of moving to 3rd base. For now, shortstop is the projection, and Westburg has shown enough to be given a solid-average grade there. Grade: 50

Arm: The arm is a weapon, with excellent strength and true carry on a line, and he's shown the ability to consistently throw accurately from multiple slots and out of multiple positions, which is always necessary to see when projecting a plus tool. His arm aids in his overall defensive game, as Westburg is able to play a little deeper than traditional shortstop positioning, because his arm is there to help him out. Grade: 60

Run: He's a plus runner now, showing consistently sub-4.2 seconds times in his final year at Mississippi State, and the speed plays on the base paths quite well. With increased physicality likely comes diminished long speed, but it's still within reason that Westburg will be a solid-average runner long term. Grade: 50

Overall: Westburg's collection of tools and physicality is enticing, and with the development his hit tool has seen over his amateur career, it's easy to see why he was a top 40 pick. The hit tool will need to continue coming along in order for Westburg to be an everyday player, but if it does, Westburg could be a pretty high-end producer with a power/speed/defense profile at a premium position. The likelihood is that of a solid-ish regular with swing-and-miss concerns, who may have to move to third, however in a more limited role.

Swing gets lengthy with power as he uses his hands to square the barrel with accuracy. Longer than average arms mean that he can reach high and away and drive it to the opposite field. Uppercut action is evident and somewhat exploitable. Susceptible to high FB. Advanced strike zone judgement; ability to make clean contact regardless of situation/matchup. Will walk. Power is present with room to add some weight as he grows his already skilled offensive resume. Grade: 50

Power: Above-average raw in BP. Present in-game but significantly lower than it projects moving forward. Should mature to average as he gets reps and gains weight. Strong ability to barrel and drive the ball over the fence. Trained prospect in ability to use the velocity of the pitch to his advantage and turn his wrists over directly into the pitch's path. Ball travels faster and farther than it should because the contact is so clean and buildup so controlled. Output post-contact is naturally uppercut (sometimes extreme) so future HR numbers would not only be higher than expected, but hit to all fields. Grade: 50

Field: Impressive transfer speeds, precise movements and a weightless first step contribute to a highly athletic shortstop profile. Plays with balance and never rushes, seems to have a good plan, high level baseball instincts on grounders, double plays and especially positioning. Shows leadership through defense. A natural middle infielder; his best baseball skill. Grade: 55

Arm: More than adequate strength to make every throw, plays in the hole made with ease, footwork leads to accurate yet measured throws across the diamond. Indifferent to angles as every throw would be similar from every spot. Never seemed rushed, feet consistently under shoulders. Throws get slightly sidearm occasionally. Finishes and starts double plays with veteran's guile. Grade: 60

Run: Easy to tap into lateral quickness, high top speed, excellent burst into acceleration. Flies out of the box, keeps tight lanes to bases to burst into turns. Seems like this won't last as he transitions from slender to strong-for now a player who can use his quickness all over the field but it translates best to base path acceleration. Can steal, smart enough to pick spots and know pitcher's patterns. Grade: 55

Overall: Dripping with instinct, skill and quiet confidence, Henderson is a sign of both the Orioles new direction and the athletic profile they'll be using to fill out their future infields. Henderson is a team leader and proud communicator on the field. He plays with style and his chemistry lifts teams. Sticking at shortstop through his physical growth would show the rest of his path with clarity. His future profile projects a solid everyday shortstop with potential All-Star ability.

Physical Description: Appears as listed, lean and strong with broad shoulders and tapered build. Physicality speaks to strength, has done a good job through amateur career of continually developing strength while retaining athleticism and body type. Some, albeit minor, projection remains on the frame.

Hit: Kjerstad's swing starts with a notably large leg lift trigger, a move that is mostly difficult to repeat for hitters but Kjerstad has the balance, bat speed, and innate timing ability to make it work. He gets the front foot down on time and consistently generates leverage, hitting against a firm front side and showing the timing skills to get to both plus velocity as well as slower off-speed stuff by buying time with his hands. It's above-average bat speed with some stiffness to path, and he's susceptible to breakers beneath the strike zone. The approach is strong and Kjerstad will take his walks, but the overall hit tool projection just in terms of barrel consistency likely falls short of average long term. Grade: 45

Power: The raw power here is plus-plus and that left-handed power is the carrying tool to Kjerstad's profile. He's able to drive the ball out to all parts of the ballpark, working gaps with ease and able to 2-strike wrist-flick balls into gaps. The best power is pull-side, with tremendous lofted shots. Prior to COVID, Kjerstad's power frequency was coming on even more, albeit in a small sample size. The hit tool likely ends up limiting the power from playing as a 70 grade tool in-game, but the medium outcome here seems to be a 25-30 HR/year player, earning a plus game-power grade. Grade: 60

Field: Kjerstad is a solid-average athlete for his size but is defensively limited to an outfield corner or even 1st base down the line, where he played sparingly at Arkansas. He played some right field as a junior in a limited season, where his overall athleticism and arm strength seem to play well together, though most scouts view Kjerstad as a left field/first baseman long term, which does give him some versatility. Grade: 60

Arm: The raw arm strength grades out as above-average, with good arm speed and a clean, whippy stroke that produces good velocity out of the hand and the ability to keep throws on a line while carrying 3B or the plate from RF. There's some inconsistencies in terms of the release time and Kjerstad is still developing in terms of his overall consistency, but a solid-average arm long term likely exists. Grade: 50

Run: Kjerstad is a below-average runner down the line, consistently around 4.4 seconds from the left side of the plate, but he's definitely more of a long runner than a short area quickness guy. One his strides get going he can cover a solid amount of ground, and the overall speed shouldn't be a deficit to his team either in the outfield or on the bases, outside of the 90 feet between the plate and 1st base. Grade: 40

Overall: Kjerstad surprised a lot of the draft community by going 2nd overall to the Orioles, as they played the long game and spread their bonus pool around. The strength of his left-handed bat is the calling card, as Kjerstad should have enough of a hit tool for his prodigious power to play in an impactful way, and he looks the part of an everyday player at the big league level who should get on base and hit for power.

Overall: The report on Baumler, while it appears negative, is mainly revolved around his rawness as a prospect. Developing a well-repeated delivery and feel for his breaking ball would do wonders for the profile. There is a path for Baumler to be a back-end starter at the major league level, but due to the numerous hurdles to reach such a ceiling, a spot-starter/long relief option is most likely.

Field: Plus defender; first-rate receiving skills behind the plate; pitchers love throwing to him. Reads his battery mate well; quiet glove with the ability to frame. Shows effort in the little things; pounces out of the crouch for fly balls in foul ground and hustles to back up infield throws. Grade: 60

Arm: Above-average arm; good strength and mechanics throwing the ball. Pop times in the 2.03-2.05 range; accuracy is less than desirable at times going off-line or bouncing throws. Shows enough athleticism and want to possibly correct with continued pro instruction. Grade: 55

Run: Below-average runner; shows instincts on the bases with good effort, but running ability will never be a weapon. Not lazy on the bases but not likely to leg out routine ground balls. Grade: 40

Overall: Rutschman has all the tools to negate any shortcomings; his switch-hitting ability takes away his platoon risk, his effortless power limits his strikeout risk, and his innate defensive abilities figure to allow him to stay behind the plate - a position traditionally tough to build a long career on. With his type of athleticism, however, even an eventual first base role would not hinder his profile or his ability to reach all-star games in the major leagues. If there is nit-picking to be made, it's with the arm and particularly the accuracy. Still, it figures to play above-average at the next level and his defensive abilities bring his floor about as high as possible for a catching prospect.
