Overall: Corniely was signed out of Venezuela for a mere $25,000 as part of their 2017 class. He's popped some since, and has already had some success pitching stateside. Corniely is a big righty with a strong, durable frame. He's listed at 175 but already looks bigger than that. He has uncanny feel for a changeup for someone his age, and his command has a chance at being a potential plus trait down the line. Future backend starter with a chance for more with improved command and/or breaking ball development.
