Physical Description: Shorter, stout stature. Large upper body with big arms, wide shoulders and wide hips. Sturdy build with good strength throughout his body. More muscle can be added to his lower half.
Hit: Some swing and miss in the game, can get pull-happy. At his best when he's using the whole field and using his above average raw strength to impact the ball. Approach lacks maturity and patience at times. Grade: 40
Power: Above average raw power. Plate approach limits his ability to get into it in-game. Most of his power is pull side. Plenty of loft in the swing. More of an ambush power hitter. Grade: 50
Field: Average fielder who's body may force him off of shortstop soon. Bat would play better at second base in a platoon role. Plenty of arm to man any infield role, but lateral range will need to improve should he hope to stick at short long-term. Body may force him off the position anyways. Grade: 50
Arm: Very good arm that can play anywhere on the diamond. At least above average. Potentially plus in terms of strength, though accuracy has regressed a touch since 2018. Grade: 55
Run: Average runner who's body figures to age toward an average or even fringy runner as he debuts at the next level. Not a base-stealing threat. Grade: 50
Overall: Eierman's smooth stroke continues to improve in the minors, but he's running out of time. There's swing and miss here, but when he makes solid contact, it's to all fields. The power will need to carry the profile to it's ceiling. His lack of speed and projection limits his defensive capabilities and his aggressiveness on the basepaths. With more work defensively, Eierman's offensive profile can potentially help him reach the big leagues. Shown the work ethic to improve defensively. Well-liked person in every corner.
