This is going to be a wild one, folks. The world of starting pitching is already one that includes a ton of built-in variance but in a season of just 60 games, this variance heightens even further. This article will focus on ranking the top-100 starting pitchers for the 2020 season after taking into account all of the coronavirus-related news that seems to be pouring in every day. In addition, we also have created these rankings as a means of sorting out desirable pitcher types that simply play better in a shorter season — one that is a sprint as opposed to a marathon.
I am beyond excited to share this list with you. I will preface it by saying this: there are some rankings you will disagree with. That’s okay. At the end of the day, these are my rankings and the ones I have generally used to draft the dozen redraft leagues I am currently in. My main focus in providing these rankings are to supply you, the reader and fantasy owner, with another resource to either confirm your own personal feelings on particular pitchers or to provide you with new ideas regarding them. Let’s get started.
I have included small descriptions and opinions for the first 50 starters on this list and have solely provided rankings for starters 51 through 100. Enjoy!
