Last night, we saw the Toros del Este and Estrellas Orientales play for the first time as their game originally was canceled on Opening Day. There are a few names you will instantly recognized on both of those rosters and the Toros made some history.

RHP Domingo German (NYY) started the game and went 4 innings, striking out 7 and allowed a pair of walks. He would combine with four other Toros to throw a no-hitter, the Toros’ second one in team history and the league’s 10th.
3B Miguel Andujar (NYY) went 0-for-4
Tigres del Licey
RHP Albert Abreu (NYY) went 3.2 innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out five and walked two and was charged with the loss
RHP Hector Perez (TOR) pitched 1.1 innings allowing a hit, walked two and struck out 2.
RHP Dany Jiménez, the former 2019 Rule 5 pick from San Francisco, now back with the Blue Jays, pitched a scoreless frame.
OF Luis Barrera (OAK) went 0-for-3

SS Wander Franco (TB) went 1-for-5 and also had a walk. He continues to be off to a good start but the power hasn’t showed up.
Astros outfielder Chas McCormick did not have a good day, going 0-for-6.
Number 2 on our Seattle Mariners board, right-fielder Julio Rodriguez (SEA) tied the game with a single that drove in two and stole a base.

OF Jose Siri (SF) went 3-for-6 with a stolen base.
1B Ronald Guzman (TEX) went 2-for-6 with a double and drove in one
3B Kelvin Gutierrez (KC) drove in two with a single in the first as that would be his only hit on the day (1-for-5)
OF Seuly Matias (KC) had a double in his only hit in the game, going 1-for-4.
In pinch hit duty, Oneil Cruz (PIT) stroked a double for his first hit in winter ball
