What you can expect to find here at Prospects Live

While Prospects Live broadly covers baseball prospects, what we are most known for are four very separate focuses:

At the heart of those focuses is Player Evaluation. We take pride in the fact that we've been a stepping stone for dozens of future MLB front office & scouting personnel and other full-time talent at other outlets such as Baseball America, Perfect Game and Prep Baseball Report. Dynasty Fantasy Baseball

Dynasty Baseball has been at the heart of Prospects Live since we launched the site in 2018. The following is what you can expect in terms of Dynasty content & tools when subscribing.

Lists

You can't play dynasty baseball without rankings as they are essential to understanding player value. Ours are filterable, customizable and allow for Fantrax/CBS player pool imports. We have multiple lists that we keep updated throughout the year:

Podcasts

We have two main podcasts focused on dynasty that both run weekly. The Dynasty Podcast features a rotating group of our dynasty team breaking down the latest content and news.

The Dynasty Baseball Pickups Podcast is focused on who to pick up in your league, hosted by Taylor Corso & Kyle Sonntag.

MLB Draft Coverage

You can find us at games across the country covering college and prep baseball. Our aim is to cover all aspects of the current and future MLB Draft cycle. If you've ever watched Harold Reynolds give crazy player comps to draftees during the draft on MLB Network, you've seen video from our contributors. We create scouting reports, rank MLB Draft eligible players and build out mocks.

Lists, Reports & Mock Drafts

Throughout the draft season we build up to a Top 300-400 MLB Draft Ranking with detailed reports on all players. These ranks are headed by Brian Switzer II, our MLB Draft Director, with support from our draft team. We also dive into a series of mock drafts heading into the season.

College Daily Sheet

New this season, we have brought the Daily Sheet to the college ranks. Each Daily Sheet contains noteworthy performances with writeups for each player.

Live Looks & Articles

Whether it be a college baseball game or a prep showcase, we often have our scouts at the fields taking in games first-hand. With that comes after are notes and video that comprise "Live Looks".

Mock Draft Simulator

Coming soon for 2025 we'll have an update to our Mock Draft Simulator tool where you'll be able to build an MLB Draft mock using all teams or one team with multiple simulator pick settings. Here is the 2024 version:

Minor League Baseball Coverage

Our team is on the minor league grind, coving prospects every day. Our team writes up industry grade scouting reports during the offseason ranking out the top prospects in each system. We also contribute to the Top 100 prospect scene.

The Daily Sheet

Our main aim is to cover MiLB every single day. Each Daily Sheet contains noteworthy performances with writeups for each player. Dynasty notes are weaved in and MLB is also covered.

Scouting Reports & Team Lists

This year we're covering the Top 20 prospects for each team with detailed scouting reports with tool grades. These are not fantasy ranks, though we have added a fantasy spin for each player.

Bally Live Streaming Shows

Join Rhys White, Drew Wheeler and Matt Thompson on your TV for Path to the Show, where the crew breaks down the Top 10 prospects from each system. Likely more to come throughout the season.

Baseball Cards

You've found your people. Whether you are new to The Hobby or have been collecting cards your entire life, our gurus Joe Lowry and Max Arterburn bring engaging content and conversation every week.

Product Previews

The team covers every player with a rookie card or Bowman 1st in each major product drop. The players are tiered and it's become the go-to resource for collectors wanting to learn more about new names.
