Data is updated through yesterday! In the past the writeups and article has gone out to Tier 60 and up patrons, but I'm including tier 55 moving forward. The PLIVE+ tool is still available only to Tier 60 and up. I'll give the humble and completely unbiased sell and say it's the most impactful dynasty tool that exists (shoutout to PLIVE+ creator Jordan Rosenblum).

Now onto some guys that caught my eye this week.

Hitters

Ben Rice

I covered Ben Rice (NYY, MLB) and his 3 HR game on Sunday's Daily Sheet, so won't repeat myself here. He's now the 17th ranked prospect by PLIVE+ between Tyler Black and Roman Anthony.

Jacob Wilson

Jacob Wilson (OAK, AAA) had a huge jump this week and is now 4th ranked hitter at AAA and 20th overall. If you haven't seen his line since getting up to AAA:

70 PA, 4 HR, 7% BB, 4% K, 1.7% SwStr, .446/.486/.738, 202 wRC+

A crazy stat? For his 291 PA MiLB career he's batting .414. He's now the highest peak projected prospect for batting average and one of just two above .300 (Junior Caminero the other). The game power that was considered non-existent is now projected for 18 HR. Could this be the answer to the question "what happens when you give Luis Arraez average power?" Looking at "No Regression" that doesn't regress to the league average based on PA, he's the 2nd overall batter with a peak projection of .368 BA. We obviously don't bet on that, but we're confidently dealing with an elite level hit tool prospect. Could get the call any day

Gustavo Campero

Gustavo Campero (LAA, AA) is an interesting prospect to say the least. He's 26 yrs old, up until this year he was a catcher (now RF) and he's 5'6". In 2023 he played pretty much the whole year at high-A and put up a 177 wRC+. Impressive, but old-for-level is an understatement here. But the thing is, he's made the jump to AA and he's once again up to 176 wRC+. He also steals bags and is up to 27 this year in 274 PA. One does not simply put up this line at AA and not eventually get a shot and given he's an Angels prospect, he can't be that far from a big league call up. PLIVE+ dings players this old, and for good reason. But at the same time it doesn't just ignore a performing player. He's the 96th ranked hitter by PLIVE+, projecting at peak for a 102 wRC+ with 20 HR and 22 SB. Sadly, as I'm an Angels fan, he's one of three Angels prospects to project for at least a 100 wRC+ at peak, the others being Nelson Rada (AA) and Juan Flores (A+). Take that out to include MLB players and he's one of 11 players in the org. In leagues where MLB proximity/PA is important, he's one of the few players you can likely pick up in any league depth as he's 0% owned in Fantrax.

Luke Adams

Luke Adams (MILB, A+) should have been covered here and I've kind of passed him over. I can't do that anymore. He's now the 5th ranked hitter at high-A and 24th overall. He's cleaned up the swing that scared many off last year and he's essentially repeating his line from last year at the higher level, posting a 146 wRC+. He's essentially projecting for 20/20 and .236/.358/.413, which even in BA leagues is very solid. In OBP leagues that's a top 75 overall player.

Leodalis De Vries

Leodalis De Vries (SD, A) was the second biggest mover last week and is now the 20th ranked A-ball hitter. He hit 3 HR, stole 3 bases and hit .462... yeah that'll do it. Up until this point the crown jewel of the latest IFA period was really struggling with his aggressive A-ball assignment. After the crazy week his overall line for the season looks decent. Let's hope something clicked for the 17 yr old.

Yeremi Cabrera

Yeremi Cabrera (TEX, CPX) has put a bit of a gap between himself at the #1 spot the next ranked players at the level in Jhonny Severino and Robert Calaz. His peak projected wRC+ is 120 with the next highest at 113 for Eduardo Tait. I'm buying now in 200+ prospect leagues as the stat sheet is undeniably full and he performed in the DSL last year.

Braylin Morel

Braylin Morel (TEX, CPX) had an insane jump this week up +19 to join the top 15 CPX hitters. It came on the back of 4 HR and 3 SB over 5 games. He's one of 3 players at the level to project for at least 20 HR and 15 SB, the others being Yeremi Cabrera and Yasser Mercedes. There is a lot of swing and miss right now, but certainly one to keep an eye on.

Pitchers

(sorry for lack of write ups, out of time & want to get out for FAAB):

Alejandro Rosario

Alejandro Rosario (TEX, A+) shoved again in his 2nd high-A start. Now the 7th ranked starter by PLIVE-. Time to buy if you haven't in 200+ prospect owned leagues.

K.C. Hunt

K.C. Hunt (MIL, A+) really shoved again. Now the 8th ranked starter by PLIVE-. Time to buy if you haven't in 200+ prospect owned leagues.

Nico Zeglin

Nico Zeglin (CHC, A) is a new standout by PLIVE-. He started the year pitching in Mexico and then signed with the Cubs. He pitched for Long Beach State last year and was the Big West Conference Pitcher of the Year. He's 24 yrs old but should be on radars as a very deep league add (he's not even in Fantrax, but I'll request him shortly). He's got a 33.1% K-BB through 34.2 IP so far this year, though at most he's gone 4 IP in a single outing.

Also check out

Brandyn Garcia (SEA, AA) - 1st AA start hitless with 5 IP, 2 BB, 8 K

Trevor Harrison (TB, A) - 1st A-ball start was solid

Travis Sykora (WSH, A) - I'm just a fan in general

Tommy Vail (CHW, A+) - 1st A+ start was 5 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 10 K
