Hitters

Franklin Arias

Franklin Arias (BOS, A) got promoted to A-ball and promptly hit 2 HR and stole a base. The insane start has been enough to catapult him up to the 11th best PLIVE+ bat in all of the minors and the top bat at A-ball over Colt Emerson. There will not be a bigger prospect riser on lists and the time to buy is now. Like right now. Stop reading and go pick him up.

Leodalis De Vries

Leodalis De Vries (SD, A) also keeps hitting a ton and he's now done enough to crack the top 20 of PLIVE+ bat ranks and third at A-ball behind Colt Emerson. The peak projection line is now at .258/.342/.477 with 27 HR and 17 SB. It's time to treat him similarly in value to a Colt Emerson and Walker Jenkins.

Jonathon Long

Jonathon Long (CHC, AA), a 9th round pick in last year's draft hit in the low minors after signing and then hit to the tune of a 120 wRC+ in high-A and earned a promotion to AA. In the 6 games since getting to AA he's hit 2 HR and walked more than struck out. PLIVE+ is finally buying in and he's up to 124 rating and is the 35th best AA bat. He's still a deeper league add, but that could change quickly if he continues to hit at this level.

In what will be the last complex league update, here is the top 10 among those that haven't yet been promoted and/or played at A-ball yet:

1. Robert Calaz (COL)

2. Yeremi Cabrera (TEX)

3. Welbyn Francisca (CLE)

4. Engleth Urena (NYY)

5. Jhonny Severino (PIT)

6. Eduardo Quintero (LAD)

7. Eric Bitonti (MIL)

8. Dameury Pena (MIN)

9. Jeremy Rodriguez (NYM)

10. Miguel Rodriguez (BAL)

Pitchers

Kumar Rocker

Kumar Rocker (TEX, AA) improved his PLIVE+ the most this week with his promotion to AA and solid 3 inning start with 4 K. When he's been healthy he's been great with a 30% K-BB. As he gets stretched out there's a possibility he gets pushed quickly.

Sean Sullivan

Sean Sullivan (COL, A+) turned in a 10 K game through 5 IP with 3 H and 0 BB and dropped his PLIVE+ down 3 pts into the 7th overall spot among pitchers. I have no idea what he's still doing in high-A as he's completely dominated the league with a 2.30 ERA and 27.7% K-BB through 13 starts. Yes it's a COL pitcher, but I'm interested in the funk lefty with plus plus control.

Connor Prielipp

Connor Prielipp (MIN, A+) is back in action and he's now up to 12.1 IP in his career since being drafted in the 2nd round of 2022. When he has pitched he's run a 29.6% K. He's got a long road but the stuff has never really been in question. We'll see if he can stay healthy and get stretched out.
