Hitters

Luke Keaschall is a name that's come up in discussions recently as he got promoted to AA. He got the double up arrows in our prospect update a couple of weeks ago and the top rank came from Taylor at 105. But the high-ranker at this point is PLIVE+ who comes in as bat #16. All he's done is hit at every level and his tiny 22 PA sample at AA is no different. The SwStr% is especially good, posting a 5.6% in high-A. He's a top 100 prospect at this point and I'd treat him as one.

Kevin McGonigle has continued his torrid pace at A-ball and is now the 3rd ranked hitter at the level behind Lazaro Montes and Colt Emerson. The difference between him and Emerson may not be as large as our Top 500 prospects has led you to believe. I'd be buying as the perceived deficit in power is overblown in his overall rank.

Dameury Pena has taken over the top CPX spot. Has primarily played 2B but also some 3B and LF. He's basically been a carbon copy of his DSL stint last year. 160 wRC+ backed by minuscule 5.3% K and high 16% BB. Add in a couple HR and 3 SB and baby you've got a stew going. I'd be aggressive adding in leagues with 200+ prospects owned.

AJ Ewing is a CPX name to know. He had the highest jump in PLIVE+ week over week and the Mets 2B/OF already has 5 HR and 5 SB through his first 83 PA in 2024. K% is a bit elevated, but not to the point of serious concern for the 19 year old.

Pitchers

Noah Schultz he is who we thought he was. His combined line across his two AA starts is: 7.2 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 12 K

Logan Evans is someone I'd be looking to sell. He's still working off the spring hype. While he's going 6 IP often we'd want to see the K & BB at higher levels for any 23 yr old at AA.
