Smada here! The complex sample is starting to get a little larger and we've got an early leaderboard. We're going to see some large swings in the next couple weeks, but it's worth touching on the names popping up here. Make sure to drop the PA minimum to 1 as there are some names hidden under 50 PA.

Alexander Albertus leads the pack at the level. He's repeating CPX after 47 PA last year and has continued the strong performance into the early sample this year. Would not be surprised to see him moved quickly to A-ball. He's got a minuscule SwStr% and walking at a 20%+ clip.

Starlyn Caba had the hype train started after placing 99th on Fangraphs pre-season top 100 due to future 80 Field grade backed by a strong hit tool. With a tiny sample he's 2nd in PLIVE+ at the CPX level. In his first 10 games he's homered and stolen 3 bases and most importantly posted a 21% BB and 5% K (backed by a tiny 4.4% SwStr).

Yasser Mercedes has received some hype recently and his performance over the last week vaulted pushed him up 13 pts in PLIVE+ vs. last week. In the early going he's 10th in PLIVE+ at the CPX level. He's being held down due to his poor performance there last year and age.

Pablo Guerrero may have the Vladdy bloodlines but the early performance has been tepid. Age 17 at CPX is nice, but we've still got to see more than just a HR to get too excited and trigger finger FAABing. He's 60th CPX bat by PLIVE+ in the early going.

Yeiker Reyes has been tabbed as a guy to watch by Alex Jensen and he's currently 21st on the CPX list. The triple slash is insane so far but their some insane .536 BABIP so far as well. The loud fantasy tool is the speed with 7 SB in 46 PA thus far. He also stole 27 in 180 PA in the DSL last year.

Welbyn Francisca was a popular DSL breakout name and the hits haven't been falling in the early going. However he's sporting a 1.3% SwStr with 19% BB and 10% K, which is extremely encouraging through his first stateside 31 PA.

Robert Calaz is another guy with a lot of hype out of DSL and while he's shown the power with 2 HR, 3 3B and 3 3B, he's had A LOT of swing and miss which has him low on the PLIVE+ totem pole early at 73rd overall at CPX.

Alex Jensen has been covering even more names on the Daily Sheet and is a must read!
