With the usual Daily Sheet crew shifting scenes for the weekend, reinforcements were called in and the Pro Side stepped up to handle Friday’s slate, so the Pro Side is double-dipping for Friday's action with arms and hot bats locked in during a night full of statement performances. Justin Lebron crushed his 13th home run of the year in a standout showing, while Cam Kozeal delivered a two-homer punch to fuel his squad. In the Midwest, Jake Hanley and Collin Jennings put on hitting clinics with multi-hit, multi-RBI efforts, and Grayson Grinsell continued his dominance with seven scoreless innings. Meanwhile, mid-major standouts Jacob Morrison and Blake Gilliespie once again proved why their draft stock is climbing fast, each racking up double-digit strikeouts. With conference play heating up, Friday set the tone for a weekend full of movement, both in the standings and on draft boards.
Below are the top performers from Friday's action!

Jacob Jarrell, C, Clemson – 5 AB, 3 R, 3 H, 2 RBI, 2 HR, 1 K
In the ACC’s only Top 25 matchup of the season, one hitter stood out as Clemson catcher Jacob Jarrell delivered a multi-homer day in the Tigers’ 9-7 win at Georgia Tech. The three-hit performance from Jarrell was his second three-hit display in as many series after he went 3-for-5 in Clemson’s 12-10 loss to Wake Forest last Saturday. In Friday’s thrilling game, Jarrell struck out swinging in his first plate appearance against Tech starter Tate McKee. In the 4th inning, with Clemson clinging to a slim 2-1 lead and McKee appearing to settle in, Jarrell launched a 1-0 pitch to right center to extend the Tiger lead and rattle McKee a bit. He singled to lead off the 8th and ultimately came around to score the go ahead run and then launched his second homer of the day on a first-pitch fastball from Mason Patel. On the year Jarrell is now slashing .265/.398/.359 and doubled his home run total.
Ben Miller, 3B, Duke – 3 AB, 2 R, 3 H, 2 RBI, 2 HR, BB
Ben Miller continues to make our Daily Sheet with routine superstar performances. On Friday, the ACC’s home run leader added his 12th and 13th long balls of the year as Duke beat NC State, 5-1. It was the first Duke multi-homer game since Miller himself hit two home runs against Florida State last May in the ACC Championship game. The former Penn star got the scoring started last night with a solo shot to left that made it 1-0 in the first inning. He’d double Duke’s lead in the 4th with a backside shot to right field. Miller would add a walk and a single to reach base in all four of his plate appearances. His multi-hit effort was his team-leading 12th of the season and extended his hitting streak to 10 games, tied for the longest on the team. The All-American is now hitting .342 on the season with six doubles and 13 home runs.
Alex Lodise, SS, Florida State – 5 AB, 2 R, 3 H, 2 RBI, 2B, HR, 1 K
Alex Lodise followed up his mid-week cycle with another big offensive day in South Bend. The Florida State shortstop has been one of the best players in the country this season, slashing .481/.525/.868 with 21 extra base hits and a 1.393 OPS. Lodise lined out and struck out in his first two at-bats, but ended up a triple shy of his second straight cycle in Friday’s 16-9 loss at Notre Dame. A five-run sixth inning by Notre Dame put the Irish in front, 7-4 heading into the 7th when Lodise lined an RBI double to center to cut the lead to 7-5. He’d come in to score in the next at-bat thanks to a Max Williams home run. The junior infielder would add a solo shot to straight away center field in the 9th for his ninth long ball of the year, finishing the day 3-for-5.
